The local area, places to go and things to eat!
Our cottage is on our working dairy and arable farm near the picturesque village of Gifford in East Lothian. The farm is located at the foot of the Lammermuir Hills but just a half hour drive from Edinburgh. It is the ideal base for family, golfing or walking holidays with the best of East Lothian's stunning countryside on your doorstep, as well as a number of great golf courses and beaches within a stone's throw.

There’s so much to do in our wonderful country and our local area is perfect for getting out into the big outdoors. We’re also close to Edinburgh too so if you fancy some big city action it’s not too far away.
Eating & Drinking
If you love food then you’ll love East Lothian. Firstly, you’re on a working diary farm where we produce award-winning cheeses, yogurts and creams so why not pop over to the office and get some super fresh food!

There’s a lot to visit round here - whether you’re a plane fanatic, a golf fan, a history buff or a foodie we’ve got something to suggest to keep you and the family busy!
